Slice of Life

A slice of my life at the moment….

  1. Beautiful peony seen at my work. I enjoyed lunch outside (something I should really do more often), and walked around a bit after. Then I saw this beautiful peony. A bright moment in the middle of a work day. Loved it!
  2. Lily of the Valley is the flower for May. It grows in my front yard. It spreads and flourishes! Definitely recommend growing if you’re looking for an idea. It is so dainty and feminine. I love this flower.
  3. Massive Sweet Potato! I’m trying to replace the russet potatoes with sweet potatoes when I cook, and this one cracked me up! I order my groceries and go and pick them up, so I was surprised to find a giant guy in the bag =)
  4. Strawberries in the backyard. They are not ripe yet. But I love the way the flower turns into the fruit. I know this is how many fruits come to be… but just love the transformation. And how lucky for those observing to get a pretty flower, then a yummy treat.
  5. My chat GPT capsule wardrobe suggestion. I really need to update my clothes. I truly don’t know how to shop for clothes (for me) anymore. So, thanks for the cute ideas chat GPT! The prompt I used was “create a casual and classy capsule summer wardrobe for me”. I have a couple things on the list already, and I ordered a couple other things. But I will go a bit slow to make sure I get things I actually like.
  6. Cupcake bouquet made by my future sister-in-law. I am so impressed! And I love seeing other people sharing their talents and gifts to make others happy.

Upcoming I would like to make some chocolate banana muffins. And I would like to share my everyday latte me and my husband have been enjoying.

I hope whoever is reading has a lovely rest of the week. And if you are talented or skilled in any way, I hope you share that!
