If you are looking to spice up your sourdough- you have to try adding some (tamed) jalapenos and extra sharp cheddar.

My family really loves this Jalapeno Cheddar Sourdough. We usually rip up chunks and dip them in ranch. Heaven!

I made a loaf for my husbands coworkers and they devoured it! I’m glad they loved it as much as we do.

My kids don’t find the jalapenos too spicy because I use the tamed peppers from Mezzetta. They just add flavor.

And the cheddar I use is extra sharp Tillamook cheddar. It’s really good. I want to try experimenting with other types of cheeses next time.

I always add a few ice cubes to the pot before baking so the crust is crunchy.
