I hope you are having a wonderful September, full of pumpkin spice lattes and warm soups! I have been enjoying this September with little moments of fall sprinkled throughout. It’s still warm enough to wear short sleeves t shirts most days, but the colors of the trees are changing and it makes me so happy!
Our family has a had a big change this September. We are in a new state!! We moved from Washington to Idaho. It has been a big adjustment for us. The air is dry as can be. The houses are all on hills. There is no Target!
But as we get into a routine here, I know we will soon be feeling right at home. We’ve already visited with my brother and sisters’ family a few times. And that was the whole point!
I have been paying attention to different things I’ve been loving this September. So here is my list of September Loves:
- Yogi Cinnamon Horchata Stress + Sleep Tea. It has cinnamon and toasted brown rice flavor and it’s perfect for September. Not too Holiday-Season-y, but still gives cozy vibes. And it doesn’t make me sleepy, despite the name. Just relaxing tea.
- Filofax Norfolk (personal size). I recently bought a used Filofax on eBay and purchased the inserts. I feel so organized! And it is a bit of a creative moment for me to do little decorative additions to each day. I have already bought some cute little stamps to add a little something to the blank day/week. And my sister gave me some beautiful flower stickers to use, which I have loved! I also got some gentle colored highlighters to make certain events special. I would love to add some holiday stickers to my setup for the upcoming holiday season.
- O’Keefe Healthy Feet Foot Cream. Like I said, Idaho is drrrryyyyy. So I recently started slathering this on before bed and definitely noticed a difference. Thank you O’Keefe, lifesaver!
- OXO Good Grips Glass Creamer, Drip-Free spout. I am starting to make my own creamer and this is the best container for it. You can of course put it in a mason jar and that is fine, but I wanted something that pours better. My creamer flavor of choice lately is maple syrup. Not too Holiday Season-ish for this time of year, but still fall-ish.
- Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil. I have been using this everyday this September. It may be more of a Christmas-y scent, but I wanted something with a more warm and cozy feel (compared to my usual lavender). I love having the aromatherapy going from the very beginning of the day. I think it really helps me and it adds a bit of moisture to the air.
I would love to hear you have been loving this September. And I hope you have a lovely fall season this year.
